ThE batch of photos BELOW was taken by Sandy Paton during a visit to Sutherland in summer 1958, along with his wife caroline and Hamish Henderson. the baby in one or two shots is the paton's 6 month old child. most of the nawken people are stewarts or related to them. sandy sent copies of all the shots to Hamish and on his death, mrs henderson sold them to a Scottish dealer from whom I bought them. caroline gave me permission to reproduce them.
